Insurance billing

Insurance Billing

Handling every step of the claim, from initial insurance billing, appeals if needed, and also patient billing is only part of the services offered. Also included is research that needs to be done in order to find the correct insurance. The deductibles, copay, and coinsurance are also billed as required. The client decides whether or not to balance bill.

Patient Billing

After the insurance billing has been completed and payment received, the secondary or supplemental insurance will be billed. If the patient doesn’t have secondary or supplemental insurance then the patient is billed.

Balance Billing

After the insurance payment has been received, the copay, deductible, and coinsurance must be billed as required by the patient’s contract with the insurance company. Billing for any remaining balance is considered a balance bill. You, the client decide whether or not we balance bill the patients.

Posting Payments

Knowing where each account is in the billing cycle is part of the service that our clients receive. The secondary insurance or the patient is billed as needed. The patient can be set up with monthly payments if that is how they want to pay and we will bill their credit card each month.  Any type of payment is accepted, such as checks, ACH bank withdrawals, and credit card payments.  Each check, ACH bank withdrawal, or credit card payment made to our office is electronically deposited into the client’s bank account.  Payments made by an insurance company, are deposited directly into the client’s bank account if that company allows EFTs (Electronic Funds Transfer).
